To increase sustenance according to the Quran, piety and avoidance of sins, giving charity, and praying are important.
In the Holy Quran, there are numerous recommendations for increasing sustenance and blessings in life. One of the primary and crucial ways to enhance sustenance is through piety and righteousness. In Surah At-Talaq, verses 2 and 3 state: "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect." This verse clearly indicates that piety and avoidance of sins serve as guarantees for blessing and increased sustenance. Another action is giving charity and assisting those in need. The Quran encourages charitable acts in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 261, where it mentions that charity brings blessings into one’s life. Moreover, in Surah Saba, verse 39, it is said: "And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah – He will compensate it." This means that charity and helping others not only bring blessings but also that Allah has promised to return it. Additionally, supplication and asking from Allah are effective methods for increasing sustenance. Surah Ghafir, verse 60 states: "And your Lord said, ‘Call upon Me; I will respond to you.’" Here, Allah promises to answer the prayers of His servants. Therefore, increasing sustenance requires a comprehensive approach involving piety, charity, and prayer.
And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out.

One day, Mohammad decided to learn ways to increase his sustenance. He referred to the Quran and realized how important piety and helping those in need were. Mohammad decided to donate a portion of his income to the needy every day and to perform his prayers diligently.
