To remain steadfast on the path of truth, one must strengthen oneself through faith in Allah, patience, and prayer.
In the Holy Quran, Allah emphasizes to the believers that to remain steadfast on the path of truth, they must adhere to their faith and righteous deeds. In Surah Al-Imran (verse 139), Allah states: 'And do not weaken and do not grieve, for you will be superior if you are believers.' This verse reminds us that we should never be disheartened by the difficulties and challenges of life and must hold onto our faith. Moreover, in Surah Al-Baqarah (verse 153), we are instructed to seek help through patience and prayer in times of trial to remain steadfast on the path of truth: 'O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.' Additionally, in Surah Al-Anfal (verse 46), Allah advises: 'And do not be like those who went forth from their homes arrogantly and to be seen by people and avert [others] from the way of Allah.' This verse emphasizes avoiding arrogance and selfishness and seeking the ultimate goal only in pleasing Allah. Furthermore, in Surah At-Tawbah (verse 51), Allah says: 'Say, 'Never will we be struck except by what Allah has decreed upon us.'' This verse reminds us that everything depends on divine will, and in every situation, we must be content and patient with God's decree. Therefore, by strengthening our faith, praying, and practicing patience, we can remain steadfast on the path of truth.
And do not weaken and do not grieve, for you will be superior if you are believers.
O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.
Say, 'Never will we be struck except by what Allah has decreed upon us.'
