Becoming beloved to God requires strengthening faith, performing good deeds, and showing kindness to others.
Becoming beloved by God is a noble goal for every believer, and the Holy Quran highlights various ways to achieve this. One of the most crucial methods is to strengthen one's faith and righteousness. In Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 177, it is stated that belief in Allah and the Last Day, along with righteous deeds and helping others, are marks of true righteousness. Allah loves those who have faith and strive in the way of good deeds. Additionally, in Surah Al-Imran, verse 31, believers are instructed to follow the Prophet, as following him is a sign of God's love. Ultimately, having good intentions and kindness towards others are also keys to being beloved to Allah. In Surah Al-Maidah, verse 93, it is mentioned that Allah grants a great reward to those who act righteously. Therefore, establishing a strong connection with God through worship, kindness to others, and adhering to divine commands can place us among those beloved to Him.
Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is in one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, and the Prophets and gives his wealth, in spite of his love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; and establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who fulfill their promise when they promise] and [those who are patient] in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous.
Say, 'If you should love Allah, then follow me, so Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.'
There is no blame upon those who believe and do righteous deeds for what they have eaten, if they have feared Allah and believed and done righteous deeds, and then feared Allah and believed and done righteous deeds. And Allah loves the doers of good.
One day, in a beautiful garden, a man named Hasan was contemplating his life. He pondered how he could become beloved by God. He decided to focus more on doing good deeds and helping others. By being kind to his neighbors and assisting those in need, Hasan felt a greater sense of satisfaction and peace. From that day on, he sought God's love more than ever, and his affection for Him grew day by day.
