How can we strengthen our faith day by day?

To strengthen our faith, we should remember God, reinforce our relationship with Him, study the Quran, and participate in faith gatherings.

Quranic Answer

Faith is a fundamental aspect of a Muslim's life, and its strengthening requires continuous and ongoing effort. The Holy Quran teaches us that the first way to strengthen faith is through a close relationship with God and worshipping Him. In Surah Al-Imran, verse 173, Allah states: 'And do not weaken in pursuing the enemy. If you have suffered a wound, then they have suffered a wound similar to it.' This verse reminds us that remembering God and mentioning Him gives us strength and confidence. Additionally, in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 152, it is mentioned: 'So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.' This means that if we remember God, He will also remember us. Secondly, strengthening one’s faith requires studying and reflecting on the Quran's verses. In Surah Al-Mu'minun, verse 68, Allah says: 'Do they not reflect upon the Quran or are there locks upon their hearts?' Therefore, reflecting deeply on divine verses guides us to a profound faith. Moreover, participating in faith communities, such as congregational prayers and Quranic study circles, can provide us with greater motivation and strength. Lastly, praying and asking Allah to strengthen our faith is one of the most effective methods. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: 'O Turner of hearts, make my heart steadfast in Your religion.' Thus, by fulfilling these points, we can strengthen our faith day by day.
