How to be saved from the whispers of Satan?

Seeking refuge in God and strengthening faith are essential for salvation from the whispers of Satan.

Quranic Answer

In the Holy Quran, Satan is recognized as the enemy of humanity, and Allah advises us in various verses to protect ourselves from his whispers. One of the key principles for salvation from the temptations of Satan is to strengthen faith and recognition of God. In Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 255, we read: 'Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence,' reminding us that only Allah is alive and sustaining and that we must rely on Him in all affairs. Satan aims to distract us from remembering God and lead us into sin. In Surah An-Nas, verses 4 and 5, Allah alerts us to Satan and his whispers: 'From the evil of the whisperer who withdraws,' indicating that we should seek refuge in God. Additionally, prayer and remembering Allah is a method to strengthen faith. In Surah Al-Imran, verse 173, Allah advises that in the face of fear and temptation, we should have faith in Him and ask for His help: 'And they said, 'Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return.' Strengthening our connection with Allah through prayer can protect us from temptations. Similarly, the Quran advises that we should utilize our faith and awareness and keep ourselves away from the darkness of Satan's whispers through good deeds and virtuous actions.
