Trusting in God means relying on His power while continuously striving for improvement in our lives. By remembering His promises and walking the righteous path, we will move towards peace in life.
Trusting in God is one of the fundamental principles in the lives of Muslims and is a concept reiterated throughout the Holy Quran. Trust in God means placing your faith and reliance on His power and wisdom in all matters of life. In Surah Al-Imran, verse 159, Allah reminds Prophet Muhammad to trust in Him and also reminds believers to place their trust in Him. For example, when one is faced with problems or challenges, it is vital to remember that God is always by their side and can provide solutions to their dilemmas. It is true that in life, we must strive and not shy away from efforts, but ultimately, the outcome is in God's hands. In Surah Al-Taghabun, verse 11, it states: "And whatever strikes you of disaster is because of what your own hands have earned, and He pardons much". This verse highlights that any affliction that comes to you is a result of your own actions, and God forgives many sins. Thus, it is important for us to seek forgiveness from God and keep in mind the necessity of reliance upon Him in our lives. Trusting God does not mean being passive or neglectful, instead, it means that after making efforts, we should have faith that He has the best plan for us. Therefore, in daily life, we should take a good intention and righteous actions and trust in God, remembering His promises and verses every time we encounter an issue.
So by mercy from Allah, [O Muhammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude in speech and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pass over [their misdeeds] and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him].
No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a Register before We bring it into being. Indeed, that, for Allah, is easy.
On a hot summer day, a Muslim man was facing great challenges in his life. He was very worried and didn't know how to handle his problems. During this time, he remembered the Quranic verses that emphasize the importance of trusting in God. He decided that instead of being fearful, he would put his trust in God and double his efforts in his tasks. The result he achieved was an inner peace and successes he never thought possible. He realized that with reliance on God, he could manage any problem.
