Is the only way to salvation the Quran?

The Quran plays a vital role in guidance and salvation; however, acting upon it is also essential.

Quranic Answer

The Holy Quran, as the sacred book of Muslims, serves as a source of light and guidance in all aspects of human life. In Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 2, it is stated that this book is a guide for the pious. This means that those who adhere to the teachings of the Quran can find salvation in this world and the Hereafter. Moreover, in Surah Al-Ma'idah, verse 48, Allah instructs His Messenger that He has guided every nation with the Book and His tradition. From these verses, it can be concluded that the Quran is one of the most crucial means of salvation for humanity. However, it is essential to understand that a correct interpretation and practice based on the Quran’s teachings require profound understanding and an open spirit. Numerous verses emphasize the significance of good deeds, honesty, and faith in God. Therefore, while the Quran provides guidance, it is equally important to act upon its teachings. It should be acknowledged that simply reciting the Quran is not sufficient; what matters is the practice of its verses and the implementation of its principles in daily life. Additionally, in Surah Al-An'am, verse 155, it is mentioned that the Quran is depicted as a means of salvation: "And this book We have sent down to you as a clarification for those who are conscious of God." In conclusion, while the Quran undeniably plays a vital role in human salvation, it is necessary for individuals to act upon its teachings to attain true salvation.
