Sincere intention in worship depends on staying away from hypocrisy and seeking Allah's pleasure.
Having a sincere intention in worship is one of the critical aspects that the Quran and Hadith emphasize greatly. In Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 177, Allah states: 'Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is in one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, and the Prophets...'. This verse indicates that true sincerity lies in the heart of the individual and must be free from any hypocrisy or ostentation. Moreover, in Surah Al-Mu'minun, verse 16, it is mentioned: 'Only those believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded of them, fall down in prostration and exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant.' Believers are those who prostrate themselves upon remembering Allah and seek closeness through genuine worship. Therefore, if an individual desires to seek Allah’s pleasure and carries out their worship sincerely, they will not be disappointed in their efforts. This is why we should constantly remind ourselves of invoking sincerity and avoid any form of self-centeredness in our worship. Sincere intention ensures the acceptance of deeds at Allah’s presence and it is only under these circumstances that an individual can truly enjoy worship and attain genuine peace.

Once upon a time, a man named Jalal was engaged in worship. He always tried to purify his intention and focused solely on seeking Allah's pleasure. One day, someone told him that his good deeds were not seen by others. Jalal replied, 'That does not matter, as I strive to sincerely do it for Allah.' Jalal came to realize that his sincere intention would make his worship accepted and bring him peace.
