Continuous connection with God, prayer, supplication, and remembering His blessings are ways to help avoid forgetting Him amidst life's hustle.
In the Holy Quran, it is emphasized that remembering God and maintaining a continuous relationship with Him is a way to escape the tumultuous distractions of the worldly life. In Surah Az-Zumar, verse 22, Allah states, "Is one whose heart Allah has opened to Islam (acceptance of faith) so he is in light from his Lord, (like one who is disbelieving)?" This verse conveys the message that connecting with God and remembering Him can illuminate and guide the heart, keeping one away from worldly disturbances. One of the methods to not forget God is through prayer and supplication. In Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 153, Allah speaks about patience and prayer, saying, "O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient." Prayer and supplication serve as tools to draw closer to God and provide tranquility during tumultuous times. Additionally, reflecting on God's blessings in our daily lives is also tremendously effective; for instance, in Surah Ar-Rahman, Allah speaks of His blessings, and meditation on these verses can remind us of Him. In summary, by scheduling regular prayers, making supplications, remembering, and expressing gratitude, we can keep God at the forefront of our lives and remain aware of Him amidst a busy world.
