Friendship with God is achieved through faith in Him, fulfilling duties, and showing kindness to others.
Becoming friends with God is one of the most valuable relationships one can experience in life. The first step in befriending God is to believe that He is always with us and to see Him in all aspects of our lives. The Holy Quran repeatedly reminds humanity that He is closer than its jugular vein, meaning we are never alone. In Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 186, it states: 'And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near...' This verse indicates that we simply need to pray and turn to Him. Additionally, establishing friendship with God depends on righteous actions, supplication, and attention to others. In Surah Al-Mu’minun, verses 1 and 2, it says: 'Certainly, the believers have succeeded. They who are during their prayer humbly submissive...' Accordingly, fulfilling God’s commands and avoiding sins is of great importance. We must strive to implement His guidelines in our lives. When we walk the right path and remember Him, He will show His love towards us. Continuous communication with God through prayer, supplication, and recitation of the Quran is a sign of our closeness to Him. Try to be with God at every moment and see Him in the blessings of your life. Consequently, through kindness to others and doing good deeds, you can win God's heart.
And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me...
Certainly, the believers have succeeded.
They who are during their prayer humbly submissive.
One day, a man went to a lake and sat by it, gazing at the sky. He asked God to be his friend. Suddenly, a cool breeze blew, and he felt God's presence close to him. The man began to pray and found an extraordinary peace in his heart. Days passed, and he got closer to God through his prayers and supplications. After a while, he felt that God had answered all his wishes and experienced a deep friendship with God in his life.
