To maintain a divine intention, one must first direct their intention towards Allah and keep sincerity in their actions.
In the Holy Quran, the concept of intention is of great importance. Intention refers to the desire and decision-making in our actions, especially in religious and devotional acts. In Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 225, Allah states: "And know that Allah knows what is within your souls," indicating that Allah is aware of our intentions, and they should be sincerely for Him. To have a divine intention in our actions, the first step is to direct one's intention towards Allah in every action. For instance, when visiting someone, the purpose should be to help and support them, seeking approval from Allah. Furthermore, in Surah Al-Mu’minun, verses 1-2, it is mentioned: "Indeed, the believers have succeeded. They who are during their prayer humbly submissive," signifying the necessity of a sincere and serious intention towards God in worship and daily activities. In this regard, specific reminders and prayers before initiating tasks can be recited to keep one’s mind focused on Allah. Ultimately, praying and asking Allah for goodness and blessings in our endeavors assists us in maintaining a divine intention and ensures that all aspects of life are centered around Allah and aimed at His pleasure.
And know that Allah knows what is within your souls, so fear Him.
Certainly, the believers have succeeded.
Who are during their prayer humbly submissive.
One day, Nader, a young man, felt deep within himself that his intentions in his actions were not truly divine. He helped the villagers with a sincere intention but worried whether it was for fame or for Allah's pleasure. Thus, he decided to set a divine intention before every good deed by remembering Allah. Days went by, and he realized that after each good deed, the peace in his heart grew stronger. Ultimately, he discovered that sincere intention was the key to tranquility and closeness to Allah.
