Allah is the ultimate provider, and all creatures' sustenance is upon Him.
In the Holy Quran, the concept of sustenance and provision is clearly articulated. Allah mentions in numerous verses that He is the ultimate provider. For instance, in Surah Adh-Dhariyat, verse 58, it states: 'Indeed, Allah is the Provider, the Firmly Established.' This emphasizes that God is the sustainer and has immense power. Furthermore, in Surah Al-Imran, verse 27, God says: 'You give sovereignty to whom You will and take sovereignty away from whom You will.' This indicates God's dominion over worldly matters, including the distribution of sustenance. These verses serve as a powerful reminder for believers to acknowledge that the provision of sustenance is in the hands of Allah, and no one can give or take anything without His permission. Additionally, in Surah Hud, verse 6, it is mentioned: 'And there is no creature on earth but that upon Allah is its provision.' This clearly states that the provision for every living being on earth is under the control of Allah. Therefore, believers should strengthen their trust and reliance on Allah regarding sustenance while also striving and making efforts in life, as God certainly provides for every creature and does not leave His servants alone in this regard.
Indeed, Allah is the Provider, the Firmly Established.
You give sovereignty to whom You will and take sovereignty away from whom You will.
And there is no creature on earth but that upon Allah is its provision.
One day, Younes was a hardworking and responsible young man. He always prioritized his work and effort, yet he couldn’t quite manage to provide well for his family. One day, while sitting under a tree and gazing at the sky, the verses of Quran flashed in his mind reminding him that Allah is the ultimate provider. He decided to place his trust in God before anything else, and then continue with his efforts. From that moment, he led his life with peace and greater confidence, gradually seeing blessings manifest in his life.
