Truthfulness is key to strengthening relationships and trust in life. Live each day with piety and honesty.
Being truthful is one of the most important characteristics of human beings, and it is emphasized in the Holy Quran. The Quran encourages us to be truthful and honest in all aspects of life. In Surah At-Tawbah, verse 119, Allah says, 'O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with the truthful.' This verse indicates that a Muslim should always strive to be truthful alongside their faith in God. In fact, honesty strengthens relationships and trust between individuals, fortifying both family and community. Furthermore, in Surah Al-Imran, verse 161, God praises truth and truthfulness: 'Never lie to yourself or others, as lying leads to misery and the loss of trust.' Overall, to always be truthful, you must first commit to making honesty a central focus in your life. Additionally, in situations where you feel that telling the truth may be painful, remember that truth is always the best path. It is the only way to prevent corruption and problems, ultimately leading to peace and trust in relationships.
O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with the truthful.
And it is not for a prophet to act unfaithfully. And whoever betrays, will bring what he has betrayed on the Day of Resurrection.
Once upon a time, a man named Sajad sat with his friends, discussing the importance of truthfulness. Sajad recalled the verses of the Quran and said, 'Truthfulness is one of the keys to peace.' He decided to get closer to this principle every day and strive to be truthful not just in his words, but also in his actions. Gradually, his friends were inspired by him, and together they moved toward being more truthful.
