Good intentions for others are rewarded in the Quran and can attract divine mercy.
In the Holy Quran, the importance of intention in actions is emphasized. Every good deed, regardless of its size or type, can hold great value and reward if performed with a sincere and pure intention. In Surah Al-Imran, verse 30, it is stated that on the Day of Resurrection, individuals will be questioned about their deeds, and the intention behind these deeds plays a significant role. Likewise, in Surah Al-An'am, verse 160, it is revealed that Allah will calculate the actions of His servants based on their intentions and will reward them accordingly. From these verses, it is clear that having good intentions for others is not only recognized as a noble act but can also lead to further good deeds. Therefore, if a person has a good intention and harbors thoughts of helping others in their heart, Allah will record that as a positive act. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also stated: "Actions are judged by intentions," highlighting that deeds are assessed based on the intentions behind them. Consequently, having good intentions for others indeed brings rewards and can attract Allah's mercy and blessings. Hence, we should always pay attention to our intentions and strive to act with a pure heart for the wellbeing of others.
The Day when every soul will be confronted with what it has brought [of good or evil], and every soul will be fully compensated for what it earned, and they will not be wronged.
Whoever brings a good deed will have ten times its like; and whoever brings an evil deed will not be recompensed except by its equivalent, and they will not be wronged.
One day, Adel decided to strengthen his intentions for helping others. He knew that a pure heart and good intentions guide a person towards goodness. When he helped others, not only did they feel joy, but he also experienced a sense of peace and satisfaction from Allah.
