Hidden support has greater reward and helps foster positive relationships and inner satisfaction.
In the Holy Quran, there is significant emphasis on the importance of doing good and benevolence towards others. One of the aspects highlighted is hidden charity ( صدقه سرّی). In Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 273, Allah states that secretive charitable acts are greatly preferred: 'The one who spends is known only to Allah, and he will not be informed about it unless he repents.' This verse underscores that Allah pays attention to the intentions of individuals, and acts of hidden generosity performed with pure intention, without expecting anything in return, are rewarded more abundantly. Furthermore, in Surah An-Nur, verse 32, it mentions that you should do good in secret to receive greater blessings. Helping others quietly not only fosters a sense of inner satisfaction but also strengthens and solidifies human relationships. The Quran teaches us that in a world filled with pain and suffering, performing good deeds and being kind to others is the best way to draw closer to God and earn His pleasure. Therefore, it can be concluded that hidden support not only has greater reward but also brings deep peace and contentment to the human soul.
Those who spend their wealth in hidden charity are performing in the best way.
And spend in the way of Allah from your wealth, and do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into destruction; and do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.
One day, a woman walking through the market encountered a needy person. She decided to help him without anyone noticing. She bought plenty of fresh food, placed it in a basket, and wrote a loving note. Then she left the basket at his doorstep and walked away. The next day, she prayed to God, grateful for her ability to help another. She understood well that this hidden support had also brought her peace and happiness.
