The remembrance of God and performing acts of worship can help us achieve inner peace.
In the Holy Quran, achieving inner peace is one of the important subjects that believers are referred to. Allah the Almighty states in Surah Ar-Ra'd, verse 28, 'Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.' This verse clearly indicates that the remembrance of God and performing acts of worship such as prayer, supplication, and reading Quran can assist individuals in finding inner peace. Additionally, in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 286, it is said, 'Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear.' This verse emphasizes the significance of trusting in Allah and accepting the circumstances of one's life, which, in turn, can lead to inner peace. Therefore, the first step towards achieving inner peace is strengthening one's relationship with Allah through worship and remembrance of Him. Many people also find additional methods to attain peace by reading and reflecting on the verses of the Quran. Surah Al-Furqan, verse 47 also emphasizes this idea by stating, 'And He is the One who guides you to the homes.' This indicates that Allah brings us His love and friendship, which can be one of the reasons for human tranquility. Ultimately, performing good deeds and helping others can also contribute to creating inner peace. In summary, connection with God and faith in Him lead to the tranquility of heart and soul.
Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.
Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear.
And He is the One who guides you to the homes.
One day, a young man named Hamid was searching for inner peace. Every night, he would remember God by reading the Quran, and he felt tranquility entering his heart. He realized that whenever he became forgetful of God's remembrance, he would feel distracted and restless. Thus, he decided to dedicate time each day for reflection and prayer. This change in his life led him to a deeper sense of peace and taught him that inner tranquility arises from a closer connection to God.
