Cultivating virtuous traits and praying to Allah are effective methods to eliminate jealousy.
In the Holy Quran, Allah provides us with guidance on how to combat jealousy and resentment. One effective way to prevent jealousy is to cultivate virtuous traits and focus on the blessings that Allah has bestowed upon us. In Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 261, we read: 'The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed that sprouts seven ears; in every ear is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills.' This verse reminds us that when people invest in the way of Allah, they reap abundant rewards. Additionally, in Surah Al-Imran, verse 134, it states: 'Who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people. And Allah loves the doers of good.' This verse highlights noble attributes such as forgiveness and controlling anger, which can help us reduce jealousy. Furthermore, fundamental solutions include prayer and feeling a closeness to Allah. In Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 45, it says: 'And seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.' By believing that Allah is by our side and through prayer, we can find peace and diminish jealousy. Therefore, to expel jealousy, we must reflect on ourselves, nurture good traits, and express gratitude for our divine blessings. Thus, through striving towards self-improvement and acknowledging our gifts, we can remove jealousy from our hearts.

Once upon a time, two friends named Ali and Hesam lived in a village. One day, Ali told Hesam, 'My dear friend, I always feel jealous of your success.' Hesam smiled and replied, 'Ali, instead of being jealous, we should be grateful for our blessings and achievements. Remember the Quranic verses that say we should invest in the way of Allah.' They decided to pray together and seek calmness from Allah. From that day forward, Ali's jealousy diminished, and their friendship grew stronger.
