Beginning the day with the remembrance of God and morning dhikrs provides spiritual strength and peace.
To begin a good day with the remembrance of God, the Holy Quran provides us with guidelines. In Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 152, Allah says, 'Remember Me, and I will remember you.' This verse highlights the importance of remembering God in our daily lives. We can start our mornings by performing the Fajr prayer, reciting dhikrs (remembrances), and reading the Quran. Specifically, the supplications after the Fajr prayer are excellent ways to strengthen our connection with God. We can also say 'Alhamdulillah' and 'SubhanAllah' to fill the day with blessings and health. The remembrance of God rejuvenates the spirit and strengthens faith. Surah Ar-Ra'd, verse 28 states, 'Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.' This verse emphasizes the positive impact of recalling God on inner peace. It is also beneficial to allocate specific times throughout the day for dhikr and seek help from Him when facing challenges. With God’s remembrance, one can experience a greater sense of security and tranquility while overcoming life's obstacles with strength and resilience. This practice not only aids in improving one’s mood but also plays a significant role in drawing closer to Allah and gaining a better understanding of life.
Remember Me, and I will remember you. And be grateful to Me, and do not deny Me.
Indeed, in the remembrance of Allah do the hearts find rest.
