To maintain calmness in the face of judgments, trust in Allah and seek His help through patience and prayer.
In the Holy Quran, Allah reminds the believers of the importance of calmness and patience. In Surah Al-Imran, verse 186, it is stated: 'And you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with Allah much abuse. But if you endure and fear Allah - that is the best course.' This verse implies that in life, when faced with judgments and adversities, one must exhibit patience and piety. Remembering that other people's judgments about us stem from their own thoughts can help us maintain our calmness. Additionally, in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 153, Allah instructs believers to seek help through prayer and patience: 'O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.' Similarly, other verses also indicate that patience and reliance on Allah are ways to overcome difficulties and judgments from others. Therefore, to preserve our calmness in the face of judgments, we should place our trust in Allah and be patient. Ultimately, we should not fall into the trap of others' judgments and instead focus on personal growth and improvement.
And you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with Allah much abuse. But if you endure and fear Allah - that is the best course.
O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.
One day, Sara was talking to her friend about the judgments she faces. She was upset, but her friend said, 'Remember, you know yourself best, and what matters is your connection with Allah.' Sara reflected on this and decided to keep her calm and focus more on doing good.
