Laylat al-Qadr is concealed due to its blessings and the testing of the servants. This night is a special opportunity for worship and closeness to Allah.
Laylat al-Qadr, regarded as one of the most significant nights in the Holy Quran, is concealed due to its blessings and special attributes. In Surah Al-Qadr, Allah mentions that this night is better than a thousand months, where angels descend upon the earth and the Spirit is with them. One of the reasons for this concealment is to test the devotion of the servants. Allah seeks to see who will earnestly seek worship and prayers during this night. Additionally, in Surah Al-Ahqaf, verse 39, it is pointed out that some nights and moments throughout the decades hold special significance, urging the servants to sincerely seek them out. Hence, the concealment of Laylat al-Qadr teaches us that in our lives, we must always search for divine opportunities and elevated positions and never miss out on any chance.
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.
And what punishment did she witness upon a people who disbelieved?
Once, there was a young man named Hassan who lived in a small town. Since his youth, he was devoted to worship and prayer, yet he remained on a quest for Laylat al-Qadr. One night, he climbed a mountain and gazed at the stars, asking Allah to reveal this special night to him. After much prayer and seeking, Hassan realized Laylat al-Qadr could be found in any night of sincere worship and devotion. He then continued his endeavors to seek out this night, understanding that what truly mattered was to pray with sincerity and dedicate the nights to worship.
