Focusing on the Hereafter and recognizing the world as a temporary life are essential points to consider.
Escaping the deception of the world is one of the significant challenges for humanity, and the Quran provides various solutions for this purpose. One of the most crucial points mentioned in the Quran is the focus on the Hereafter, emphasizing that the world is merely a temporary and fleeting existence. In Surah Al-Imran, verse 185, it states: 'Every soul will taste death.' This verse serves as a reminder that human life is limited, and one must be cautious about how they spend their time. Additionally, in Surah Luqman, verse 33, Allah instructs believers to protect themselves from the world and its deceptions by focusing their attention on their Creator. Moreover, in Surah Hud, verse 15, Allah says, 'For those who rely on the world and its adornments, a severe punishment awaits.' From these verses, we learn that turning away from the fleeting world and focusing on the divine path is a key strategy. Furthermore, the Quran encourages individuals to act wisely in their choices and not to fall prey to worldly illusions. The allure of worldly possessions and lifestyle ultimately leads to degradation and torment. Therefore, seek forgiveness and guidance from Allah, and remember that true life lies in the Hereafter, for which you must prepare. With this perspective, save your soul and spirit from the deceptions of this world.
Every soul will taste death. And you will be given your due rewards on the Day of Resurrection. So whoever is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has certainly succeeded. And what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion?
O you who have believed, fear Allah and be mindful of the Day when no soul will suffice for another soul in anything. Nor will intercession be accepted from it, nor will compensation be taken from it. Those are the disobedient.
Whoever desires the life of this world and its adornment - We fully compensate them for their deeds in it, and they therein will not be deprived.
Once upon a time, there was a girl named Susan sitting in her garden, admiring the beautiful flowers. She turned to the smallest and ugliest flower and asked, 'Why are you so ugly while the others are so beautiful?' The ugly flower replied, 'I remember a time when I pursued beauty and spent all my time on it, and now I've wasted my time in vain, while the others bloom with the beauty of their days.' Susan learned the lesson and realized beauty is not just about appearance; one must also cultivate the beauty of the soul and good character to remain safe from the deceptions of the world.
