True happiness lies in nurturing a connection with God and remembering Him.
True happiness according to the Holy Quran is defined as a deep connection with God, inner contentment, and living according to moral and ethical principles. Through acts like prayer and supplication, one can understand how to establish a relationship with God and benefit from His love. Surah Ar-Ra'd, verse 28 states: 'Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured.' This verse indicates that the remembrance of God and connection with Him is a source of peace and tranquility for the human heart. Likewise, in Surah Al-Anfal, verse 28, Allah reminds the believers: 'And know that your properties and your children are but a trial and that Allah has with Him a great reward.' This verse underscores that worldly possessions and relationships cannot bring true happiness; only with God is there great recompense. Therefore, to find true happiness, one should adhere to faith and ethics, placing honesty and goodwill in their relationships with others as a priority.
Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured.
And know that your properties and your children are but a trial and that Allah has with Him a great reward.
One day, a man named Nader was sitting in a garden. As he gazed at the beautiful trees and flowers, he pondered the meaning of true happiness. Suddenly, a wise man approached him and said, 'True happiness lies in connecting with God and loving His creation.' Inspired by these words, Nader decided to focus more on his spiritual life. From that day forward, he not only immersed himself in the remembrance of God but also made an effort to assist those in need. This change in his behavior led him to feel true joy and happiness more than ever before.
