To have a tranquil heart, we need remembrance of God, patience, and positive connections.
Having a tranquil heart amidst the storms of life is one of the greatest challenges, especially during difficult times. In the Quran, Allah advises believers to remember Him in order to achieve peace in their hearts. In Surah Ar-Ra'd, verse 28, Allah states, 'Indeed, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.' This verse reminds us that the remembrance of God not only brings comfort to the heart but also helps alleviate tension and anxiety during trying moments. Additionally, in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 153, Allah says, 'O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.' This teaches us that in times of trials and tribulations, we should resort to patience and prayer. Another essential practice for maintaining tranquility in our hearts is cultivating good character and maintaining positive family and social relationships. Therefore, having a calm heart requires strengthening our connection with God, patience, prayer, and avoiding sin and despair. It is in such a state that we can preserve our internal peace amidst life's storms and continue to progress with greater confidence.
Indeed, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.
O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.
One day, a man named Sajjad was walking in the park. He was worried about the problems of life and didn’t know how to get through them. Remembering the verses of the Quran, he fell into remembrance of God. After some contemplation, he decided to place his trust in God and pray. With each remembrance of God, a sense of calmness flowed in his heart, and he concluded that the best way to overcome difficulties is to rely on God and remain patient.
