Instilling hope through belief in God's mercy and reminding others of it is essential.
In the Holy Quran, hope and trust in God is one of the significant themes emphasized. Allah teaches His servants through various verses to never lose hope and to trust in His mercy. For instance, in Surah Az-Zumar, verse 53, Allah addresses His servants saying: 'O My servants who have believed, do not despair of the mercy of Allah.' This verse encapsulates the most crucial aspect of instilling hope in others: reminding them that Allah is always accessible and His mercy encompasses everyone. Additionally, in Surah Al-Imran, verse 139, Allah instructs the believers, saying: 'Do not grieve, for indeed, you will overcome for the believers.' This verse encourages us to not dwell in despair and to keep hope alive in our own hearts and in others. The hope in Allah's mercy and belief in a brighter future can be a response to hopeless hearts. Thus, as we connect ourselves to God, we should also remind others that they are not alone in life's struggles and that Allah is always with them. To impart hope, we must first be hopeful ourselves and convey that hope through our speech and actions. Along this journey, praying for others and encouraging them to trust in God are additional ways.
O My servants who have believed, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world is good, and the earth of Allah is vast. Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account.
Do not grieve, indeed Allah is with us. Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account.
One day, a forlorn man went to the sea and began to pray: 'Oh Lord, there is no one who gives me hope.' Suddenly, the sea cast jewels towards him. Astonished, the man said: 'O Allah, I just needed hope from You.' This story reminds us that when we have hope in God, we can create hope in the hearts of others.
